In Nepal, you can check the details of a printed driving license using the official online platform or mobile apps provided by the Department of Transport Management (DoTM). Here’s how to do it:
1. Via the Official Website
- Visit the DoTM official website: https://onlineedl.doti.gov.np/
- Select “Check License Status” or a similar option.
- Enter your license number (printed on the card) in the required format (e.g., “12345/075”).
- Submit the form to view your license details, including validity, status, and categories.
2. Via the Mobile App
- Download the “Mero Driving License” app from the Google Play Store or App Store.
- Open the app and navigate to the section for checking license details.
- Enter your license number or barcode number to retrieve the information.
3. SMS Method
- Send an SMS in the following format:
plaintext LC <License Number>
- Send it to the designated number (e.g., 33001, depending on the service provider).
- You will receive a reply with your license details.
4. QR Code on the License
- If your license card has a QR code, scan it with a QR code scanner app.
- The code will redirect you to the online portal or display details directly.
