People found in Chitwan bus accident.

On July 12, 2024, a devastating landslide in Chitwan swept away two passenger buses along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section, resulting in at least 60 people missing. The incident occurred around 3:30 AM in Simaltal, where the buses, Angel Deluxe and Ganpati Deluxe, were en route to Kathmandu and Gaur, respectively. Rescue operations are ongoing, with personnel from Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force, and the Nepali Army involved in the search for survivors and the recovery of the buses, which have not yet been located

In addition to this major accident, another incident occurred nearby when a boulder hit a passenger bus, killing one person and seriously injuring the bus driver, who later succumbed to his injurie.
